About lewis Funny farm LLC

Lewis Funny Farm LLC is a family-owned small farm located in Hedgesville, WV. Here’s our history:

My grandfather bought the land in 1997 and named it Lewis Funny Farm. When I was a child, my mother began raising chickens and turkeys, allowing me to grow up learning about caring for poultry. I believe this is what fueled my lifelong dream of having a farm. After my grandfather passed, my family and I moved to the land here in West Virginia, where we continued raising poultry. Following my high school graduation in May 2024, I began working on my associate’s degree, majoring in Agribusiness. That’s when my parents told me they would allow me to begin raising meat rabbits in addition to our poultry production. We soon made the decision to start a small farm, not only to be able to self support ourselves with naturally raised products, but also to provide to our community. Here’s why:

We strongly believe that any animal product that is consumed should be free of any additives, hormones, steroids, medicated feed, and other harmful substances. We raise our livestock to live as nature intended with little other no human intervention.
